Parent Visas: IR-5 and Family Preference Visas

Bringing your parents to the United States is a meaningful step in reuniting your family. Our experienced attorneys assist U.S. citizens in applying for IR-5 visas and other family preference visas, ensuring a smooth and successful process.

  • IR-5 Visa: The IR-5 visa allows U.S. citizens to sponsor their parents for lawful permanent residency. We guide you through the application process, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurately filed to minimize delays.

  • Family Preference Visas: For parents who do not qualify under the IR-5 category, we help you explore other visa and humanitarian options that may be available, ensuring that your application is aligned with U.S. immigration laws and policies.

At US Immigration Law Group, we understand the hardship suffered when separated from your loved ones and the importance of establishing your life here in the U.S. together. Our dedicated team of immigration attorneys is committed to helping you navigate the complexities of obtaining spouse and fiancé(e) visas, as efficiently and stress-free as possible.

Spouse Visas: IR-1, CR-1, or K-3 visas

Both U.S. Citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents are eligible to petition their spouses to immigrate to the United States.  Depending on your goals and time frames, one visa category may be faster or better than another.  Our experienced attorneys will take the guesswork out of deciding which visa to apply for and help you navigate the process.  We provide comprehensive guidance through every step, from preparing and filing the visa petition and related documents to preparing you for any required interviews.

  • K-3 Visa: This visa allows spouses of U.S. citizens to enter the U.S. while waiting for their immigrant visa petitions to be approved. It may shorten the physical separation between you and your spouse.

  • CR-1 Visa: The Conditional Resident visa (CR-1) is issued to spouses of U.S. citizens, who have been married for less than two years, obtain conditional permanent residency status. We help you understand the requirements and ensure all documentation is properly filed.

  • IR-1 Visa: This visa allows spouses of U.S. Citizens to live permanently in the United States.  An IR-2 visa can be obtained for their unmarried children under age 21. Often times when a family is relocating to the U.S. the process can be started well in advance.

Children Visas: IR-2, IR-3, IR-4, F1, F3, F2A and F2B Visas

Ensuring that your children can join you in the United States is a priority for many families. Our legal team provides expert assistance in securing the appropriate visas for your children, whether they are biological, adopted, or stepchildren.

  • IR-2 Visa: The IR-2 visa is for unmarried children under the age of 21 of U.S. citizens. We assist in preparing and filing the necessary paperwork, ensuring your child can obtain lawful permanent residency.

  • IR-3 and IR-4 Visas: These visas are for children adopted abroad by U.S. citizens. We help navigate the complex requirements and offer guidance to ensure compliance with U.S. immigration laws.

  • F1 Visa: The F1 visa allows for U.S. Citizens to bring their unmarried children over 21 to the United States.  We ensure that all documentation and evidence properly filed to ensure they can go through the immigration process seamlessly.

  • F-2A Visa: The F-2A visa allows lawful permanent residents to bring their spouse and unmarried children under 21 to the United States. We provide comprehensive support to ensure your family can be together as quickly as possible.

  • F-2B Visa: The F-2B visa is for unmarried adult children of lawful permanent residents.  Depending on the country of origin these visa wait times may be lengthy.   Often times we can leverage your status whether you choose to become a U.S. Citizen or not to ensure your adult child can immigrate as soon as possible.

  • F3 Visa: This visa is reserved for married children of U.S. Citizens.  Because this is a preference category it will allow for the spouse and any grandchildren to immigrate as well.
